Audit Services
For nonprofit organizations required to undergo an audit, we provide an Independent Accountant’s Audit Report along with audited financial statements and all required disclosures. Audit engagements are typically performed in conjunction with the preparation of IRS Form 990 and applicable state filings.
An audit provides the highest level of assurance to financial statement users. At the conclusion, we also provide written communications to management, including a report on any internal control deficiencies and recommendations for strengthening internal controls and operating efficiency. We are nonprofit accounting specialists, and our goal is to make the audit process as seamless as possible.
Review Services
For organizations requiring a CPA review of their financial statements, we provide an Independent Accountant’s Review Report along with reviewed financial statements and all required disclosures. Review engagements are commonly performed in conjunction with IRS Form 990 preparation and state filings.
A review provides limited assurance and is substantially less extensive than an audit.
Form 990 Preparation & State Filings
Some nonprofit organizations do not require an audit or review but are still required to file an annual IRS Form 990 and applicable state reporting forms. While some smaller organizations prepare these filings internally, many engage an experienced nonprofit CPA to ensure accuracy and compliance.
We provide Form 990 preparation and related state filing services for nonprofit organizations.
Please note: We specialize in 501(c)(3) public charities (Form 990). We do NOT serve private foundations (Form 990-PF). We currently work with established organizations and have only limited capacity to work with newer (start-up) organizations.
